“Could someone outside see my numbers?”
Every business on Ledgrow sits in its own locked space. No other customer, and no outsider, can read a single entry of yours.
Under the hood:Separated at the database level with Postgres row-level security. Nothing writes to your books except through checked server functions.
“Could my own staff redirect a payment?”
Your accountant enters bills, your CA reviews. Only you can change the bank account or UPI ID printed on your invoices, so nobody can quietly send your customers' payments somewhere else.
Under the hood:Three roles: Owner, Accountant and Partner CA. Owner only: inviting or removing people, the business name, GSTIN, PAN, bank account and UPI ID, saved bank accounts and API keys, and deleting files.
“Could someone change an invoice after it's sent?”
Edit or delete an issued invoice and Ledgrow keeps the earlier version, with who did it and when. Nobody can erase that record. Not your staff, not even you.
Under the hood:An append-only edit log on issued invoices, kept for good, plus the last 50 versions of every part of your books for the owner.
“Can Ledgrow's own team look at my books?”
Need help? You switch on support sharing for 1 to 7 days. Our team can look, never change, and every look shows up in your Settings. Without it, we see only that your business exists and how active it is. Never an amount.
Under the hood:Read-only, time-limited access that only the owner can grant. Every view is logged and shown to the owner.

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or phone. It expires in 10 minutes.
Limits on how many codes can be sent and how many tries are allowed.
Your books are kept in India, in the Mumbai region, and encrypted on the way and at rest.
Built on Supabase. HTTPS everywhere, with HSTS preload.
Bills, cheques and receipts sit in private storage. Every link to a file expires in 10 minutes.
File type and 10 MB size checks on every upload.
A payment link can only ask for what a real invoice still owes. The amount comes from your saved books, never from the browser.
Payments by Razorpay. Webhooks are signature-verified and each payment is counted once. Your plan turns on only when Razorpay confirms it.
Invoices on email and WhatsApp go out under your saved business name, with only Ledgrow or Razorpay links in them.
Daily sending limits, so nobody can use your name for fake payment requests.
No secret key ever reaches the browser, so there is nothing to lift from the page.
Provider keys live only in the server's secret store.
No third-party trackers, no advertising and no advertising cookies. Not on the website, not in the app.
Strict Content Security Policy. The app can't be framed by other sites (clickjacking protection).
Once a Ledgrow Verified certificate is published, nobody can change it.
The public check page shows only certificates on our records.
Daily limits on reminders, emails, bill reading and logins to the GST and e-way bill portals.
Enforced on the server, so they hold even under a sudden burst.
